Stepping into the shop Taga Frame also means entering the gallery of its namegiver, the artist Taga Nuwagaba, one of Kampala’s top talents. On the walls his Ugandese men, women and children in watercolor are gazing at you from their pretty frames.
On another wall, a fair amount of wooden and aluminium frames in different styles (clean and modern, curly and baroque) can be combined with a passe partout in the right color and for very reasonable prices. Taga Frame can also paint wooden frames in your preferred colour.
On average, it will take approximately seven days for your work to be ready. Prices depend on the size of the art work and frame. A standard A4 work with wooden frame and passe partout costs 50K.
