DiVino’s a sheer paradiso of Italian cheese, charcuterie and wine and on top of that for reasonable prices.
Mozzarella & Mortadella
And there’s so much to choose from! Dimmi! Okay, so for the meat lovers we have speck, mortadella, spinata, salami, prosciutto crudo and cotto (best of Kampala!) for example and let’s not forget the very nice, smooth turkey. If you’re crazy for cheese, try the different kinds of strong and mild pecorino, provolone, gorgonzola, parmesan and mozzarella. The friendly guys behind the counter are willing to let you try out different kinds of delicacies in order for you to make the right choice.
There’s plenty to get your mitts on in this place, even if it’s not cheese or meat you’re after. Have a browse at the pesto, pasta, cookies, olives, artichoke and more delicious items imported from Italy. You can shop and go, but you can also treat yourself to some downtime in or outside with a cheese-or meat tagliata paired with a glass of Orvieto. Behind the shop the relatively new restaurant DiVino is one of the best in the city. More about that later! As can be expected, the interior’s top notch.
