Shopping for European fashion in Kampala can be a challenge, to put it mildly. But have no fear, Fashion Corp is here!

Owino Market, the biggest one in (second) hand clothing in East Africa, is straight up chaotic. Strolling past those colourful piles of pants, shirts, dresses and shoes is hot, intens and yes, a must see whilst in Kampala. Butttt, after taking in the bulk of the crowds and clothing, I don’t feel the urge to return to Owino any time soon.

So it’s a good thing that the ladies of Fashion Corps defy the chaos that is called Owino and find those well hidden second hand gems. After washing and ironing them, you can find their latest collection on Facebook. Once every month there’s a sociable sale (with cocktails!) in either Kampala, Entebbe or Jinja where you can supplement your wardrobe.
