It’s practically all you need to keep a party going.
My husband and I, being Dutch and all, had to get used to it at first. Every kids’ party we went to had bouncing castles, face painters and bubble machines. When you are used to games as musical chairs and play tag, this is a whole different ball game. We have definitely learned to embrace it though!
Kampala hosts different companies that rent out bouncing castles. We went for an awesome and huge one, belonging to the company Jump4Joy. They have bouncing castles in size medium (6 meters length, 4 meters width by 4 meters height) which costs 250K and in size large ( 7 x 7 x 3) which is 350K. Transportation within Kampala is free. The Jump4Joy guys were on time, friendly and tended the castle well with all those kids jumping and flying around.
Apart from the bouncing castles, Jump4Joy also provides services such as children’s character impersonations, clowns, puppet shows, face painting, tailored made themed parties, music and children’s chairs.
