Pencookies

Like so many other things, each country has its own way of letting the world know a baby boy or girl is born. We, Dutch folks, have a tradition of sending out birth announcement cards to family and friends to share the happy news.

So…If you’re looking for an unique, original and handmade birth announcement, you’ve come to the right place! I started Pencookies because I really love to draw, especially when it’s for something as special as a birth announcement card. When (future) parents are thrilled with my design, it simply makes me happy!

How does it work?

I make illustrations in (colored) pencil and pen. Maybe you already have ideas about what your card should like. Even if you have no clue yet, I can sketch and email you some suggestions and include elements of your liking. After approval, I will send you the final illustration in high resolution. The printing firm of your choice will use the illustration to make and print the birth announcement card.
