Dutchies Yvonne and Annemiek landed on the same plane in Kampala in October 2014. In the months that followed they found out that they shared the same love for pictures, illustrations, writing and all of the above combined. In short, things that inspire and make you happy!
One day talking over coffee and Dutch apple pie (from BBrood, taste it, it’s good!) about their discoveries in this new bubbling city, they realised they both wanted to do the same thing: make an informative, inspiring, fun, colorful, illustrative and useful online city guide about Kampala. A website where locals, expats and tourists can find the best places to eat a great pizza, to get a haircut or to order that Scooby Doo cake for their kids' birthday party. A website that will provide you with all the information you need, but in the meantime is also fun to read. In other words: a place on the web that will hopefully put a smile on your face!
